Carol Guzy is a natural treasure. Her work, the images she's made, the events she's witnessed and the life she's lived serve as an inspiration to us all.

Carol was just honored with a Lifetime Achievement from the White House News Photographers Association. She was already their most decorated member, having won four Pulitzers, a Robert Capa Gold Medal, and being named the WHNPA Photographer of the Year an astonishing eight times.

Her rise to the top was propelled through hard work and tenacity, which is to be expected. Her rise was also fueled by her empathy and humility, which is far less common. It is a unique combination that creates the rare person who can make photographs that bring us, the viewer, right into the lives of people we will never know.

We were honored to showcase her coverage from January 6th on the cover of our first issue.

Carol and her work are both one of a kind.

Speaking of our first issue, I'm pleased to announce that Communication Arts recognized it in their September/October issue which is on the newsstands now. This is a big deal, as we were one of only three editorial publications to receive this honor. It represents a professional milestone that we reached right out of the gate.

We are looking forward to sharing more of Carol's work with you in the future. We are also humbled by the support you have all given us.

Thank you.
